Architect – Real Estate

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Architect to join our real estate development team. As a Real Estate Architect, you will play a pivotal role in the conceptualization, design, and execution of various real estate projects. Your responsibilities will encompass translating client requirements into innovative and feasible architectural designs, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations, and collaborating closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality and sustainable real estate developments.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Architectural Design: Develop innovative and practical architectural designs for real estate projects, including residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. Utilize your expertise in spatial planning, building aesthetics, and sustainable design principles to create functional and visually appealing spaces.
2. Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their vision, requirements, and objectives for each project. Incorporate client feedback and preferences into the design process to ensure alignment with their expectations and objectives.
3. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all architectural designs adhere to relevant building codes, zoning regulations, and other legal requirements. Conduct thorough research and stay updated on local building regulations to ensure compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
4. Project Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate the execution of architectural designs. Provide guidance and support to ensure that architectural plans are implemented accurately and efficiently.
5. Sustainability Integration: Integrate sustainable design principles into architectural plans to minimize environmental impact and enhance energy efficiency. Explore innovative materials and construction techniques to achieve sustainable outcomes without compromising design quality.
6. Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections and reviews to ensure that architectural designs meet quality standards and specifications. Address any design flaws or discrepancies promptly to maintain project timelines and budgetary constraints.
7. Documentation and Presentation: Prepare detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and presentations to communicate design concepts effectively to clients, stakeholders, and project teams. Utilize appropriate software tools and visualization techniques to illustrate design ideas and proposals.
8. Professional Development: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in architectural design and real estate development. Participate in professional development activities, workshops, and conferences to enhance skills and knowledge in relevant areas.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• Professional licensure as an Architect (RA) preferred.
• Proven experience in architectural design and real estate development, with a focus on residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects.
• Proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of building codes, zoning regulations, and construction processes.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
