Position Overview:
As an IATA Trainer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the professional development and competency of our staff in accordance with International Air Transport Association (IATA) standards. You will be responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs focused on various aspects of IATA regulations, procedures, and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive training materials and resources aligned with IATA guidelines and regulations.
- Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions to employees at all levels, including frontline staff, supervisors, and managers.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to measure the effectiveness of training programs and identify areas for improvement.
- Keep abreast of latest developments, updates, and changes in IATA regulations and industry trends, and incorporate relevant information into training content.
- Collaborate with departmental heads and HR to identify training needs and develop customized training plans to address specific requirements.
- Provide one-on-one coaching and support to employees as needed to enhance their understanding and application of IATA standards.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on IATA-related matters, providing guidance and assistance to internal stakeholders as required.
- Maintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, and performance assessments for reporting purposes.
- Continuously seek opportunities to enhance training methodologies and approaches to ensure maximum effectiveness and engagement.
- Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct in all training activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Hospitality, Travel & Tourism, or Business Administration.
- IATA Certification (e.g., IATA Training Professional Diploma) is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the travel industry, preferably with a focus on IATA training.
- Strong knowledge of IATA regulations, ticketing procedures, and industry standards.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to design and deliver effective training programs to diverse audiences.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and learning management systems (LMS) is preferred.
