Job Description:
As the MEP Head in Real Estate, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within the real estate projects. Your responsibilities will span from conceptual design to construction and ongoing maintenance. You will collaborate closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and facility management teams to ensure that MEP systems meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Planning:
- Lead the design and planning of MEP systems for real estate projects, ensuring compliance with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and consultants to integrate MEP systems seamlessly into building designs.
- Develop cost-effective and sustainable solutions for MEP systems, considering energy efficiency and environmental impact.
- Project Management:
- Oversee the implementation of MEP systems during construction, ensuring adherence to design specifications, budget constraints, and project schedules.
- Coordinate with construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors to procure materials, equipment, and services necessary for MEP installations.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor the progress of MEP works, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Quality Assurance and Compliance:

- Serve as the primary point of contact for MEP-related inquiries and issues, fostering effective communication and collaboration among project stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field; advanced degree or professional certifications preferred.
- Proven experience in MEP design, construction, and project management within the real estate industry, with a minimum of 10 years in a leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, fire protection, and building automation systems.
- Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and standards relevant to MEP design and construction.
