Zonal Manager – B2B Sales

Overview:

As a Zonal Manager for Business to Business (B2B) Sales at our travel agency, you will be responsible for overseeing and driving sales activities within your designated zone or region. You will lead a team of sales professionals, develop strategic partnerships with businesses, and ensure revenue growth through effective sales strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Leadership and Team Management:
    • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales executives to achieve sales targets and objectives.
    • Provide guidance, training, and support to enhance the performance of the sales team.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and implement corrective actions as needed.
  2. Business Development:
    • Develop and execute strategic plans to expand the agency’s B2B client base within the assigned zone.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and relationship building.
    • Build strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, tour operators, and other potential partners.
  3. Sales Strategy and Execution:
    • Develop sales forecasts, budgets, and targets for the zone in alignment with company objectives.
    • Implement effective sales strategies to maximize revenue generation and market penetration.
    • Monitor sales metrics and analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  4. Customer Relationship Management:
    • Ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction by addressing client inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly.
    • Foster long-term relationships with key accounts and partners to promote repeat business and referrals.
    • Represent the company professionally at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.
  5. Collaboration and Communication:
    • Collaborate closely with other departments such as marketing, operations, and finance to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.
    • Provide regular updates, reports, and insights to senior management on sales performance, market trends, and competitive activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • Proven experience in B2B sales management, preferably in the travel industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
